    Visit your site

    Open it in a new tab, like any visitor would.

    Open Traffic

    The yellow “Awaiting the first event” box disappears and your visit shows up within a few seconds.

What it records

  • One page view per URL, including page changes in single-page apps.
  • The referring site, UTM tags and screen width (to tell mobile from desktop).
  • A random visitor id kept in one first-party cookie (statsip_vid, one year, on your own domain). It holds nothing personal and is only used to count returning visitors and match payments to the visit that brought the customer in. If cookies are blocked, StatSip falls back to an anonymous id that resets every day.
  • Bots and crawlers are ignored.
